About the course
Overview
By combining these modules into one day participants will understand common mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and psychosis and how these can intersect with vulnerability to abuse or neglect. Additionally, the training provides guidance on how to approach and support individuals experiencing mental health challenges with empathy, sensitivity, and appropriate interventions.
Before you come
You are attending a First Aid for Mental Health training course. To correctly assess specific skills taught during this course you will be asked to complete a number of verbal and written assessments. Our trainers will be available to answer any questions you may have.
