Overview
Level 2 Award in Safe Moving & Handling
This course provides employers the security that they have met their legal responsibility to provide adequate training for those who perform manual handling in their day to day role.
Evac Chair
This practical course teaches participants how to safely use evacuation chairs to assist mobility-impaired individuals during an emergency. Course Content: Understanding evacuation chairs and their role in emergency planning Legal responsibilities and risk assessment Chair setup and safety checks Safe techniques for using evacuation chairs on stairs Practical, hands-on exercises for operators Care, storage, and maintenance of equipment By the end of the course, delegates will feel confident and competent to assist in an emergency using an evacuation chair. Certification is provided upon successful completion.
